We are an aviary located in Oakley, California where we have
a combined 25 years experience in the breeding and raising of birds. Our
aviary consists of Macaws, Cockatoos, Greater Vasa, African Greys, Senegals,
Red Bellied Parrots, Rüppell's
Parrots and Cockatiels.
We are members of the American Federation of Aviculture, North American Cockatiel Society, Contra Costa Avian Society, Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council and are in the process of becoming associate breeders with the Greater Vasa Breeding & Conservation Project at the Sacramento Zoo. We maintain our aviaries under the "closed aviary" concept and to MAP (Model Avicultural Program) standards. Because we maintain such strict standards, we are able to guarantee the health of the birds we raise. Debi is also a Certified Avian Specialist which allows us to provide you with the highest level of expertise and knowledge. Our birds are housed in both indoor and outdoor, free flight environments. Our philosophy is that birds kept in this type of environment are happy, healthy and productive birds. Our babies are first parent raised, then separated at an early, yet appropriate age. Babies are then hand raised in our home for optimum human interaction and are provided with various stimuli and interaction with other birds and animals resulting in a well socialized baby.
